By utilising their world-class expertise, DyeCat has developed a new method for the production of synthetic fibres that removes the need to include a downstream dyeing process.
This has many benefits including energy, water and cost savings.

Hair Dyeing;
Hair dyes require extreme chemical conditions in order for the component dyes to work, including the use of severe irritants. DyeCat technology has the capability to remove the need for such chemicals and replace them with much safer alternatives, producing dyes that contain natural products and can colour hair under a significantly less harsh regime. This same process can also be applied to other fibre dyeing such as cottons, wools and cellulosics.

Dye Effluent Treatment;
In line with its green principles, DyeCat has developed a dye effluent treatment that is derived from a natural waste product that is highly effective at removing colour from waste dye streams. It originates from a sustainable source, and is biodegradable after use.
